As Director of Retail Leasing at NAI Harcourts Brock Commercial, Lou is responsible for all facets of retail leasing on both project development work and individual tenancy leasing in prime retail precincts. This involves the co-ordination of the Company's and client's needs both locally and nationally. His duties include consultancy, development of layout plan design, identification of the preferred tenancy mix, preparation of projected rent schedules, identification of target retailers, providing assistance for the implementation of marketing initiatives, negotiating with retailers, undertaking all preliminary lease documentation and liaising with solicitors in the preparation of formal leases, liaising with other parties of project work (including architects, builders, engineers and planners). Lou specialises in project leasing work and undertaking all aspects of leasing to ensure the development achieves its maximum potential in terms of rents achieved, layout efficiency, 100% occupation and accurate documentation. Lou has been involved with many of the major retail leasing deals in Rundle Mall and its associated Streets and Arcades, as well as with major shopping centres and retail precincts across the metropolitan area. Lou has a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) Degree, is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Licensed Real Estate Manager.
